When to Call 911

911 often receives calls that are of a non-emergency nature.  While most non-emergency calls are for legitimate purposes, sometimes we receive a call that should not have been placed to 911.  When this happens, valuable dispatcher resources may be tied up, potentially delaying emergency assistance to those who truly need it.
